I’m a UX Designer driven by curiosity, problem solving, and a desire to create better experiences. My naturally inquisitive mindset drives me to constantly ask why and seek opportunities to improve experiences. With a strong attention to detail and a passion for exploration, I thrive in fast-paced environments where collaboration and iteration are key.

Hi, I’m Lauren Hewitt.

Day job

Currently I’m a Junior UX Designer at the BBC in London. I’ve been here for 4 years whilst completing my degree apprenticeship in Digital User Experience.

Out of office

When I’m not wireframing, I love exploring, baking, cooking, learning new crafts, enjoying experiences and making memories.

How I work

Design with empathy

I love understanding people which enables me to focus on creating experiences that feel intuitive, inclusive, and genuinely helpful.

Detail driven

I pay close attention to the finer details, from small interactions to edge cases.

Solving puzzles

I enjoy breaking down complex challenges and piecing them back together into clear, intuitive solutions.

Always learning

I’m constantly developing my skills, refining my process, and learning from real-world feedback.
